Forearm Splint
Exos splints are designed to provide stability to an injured extremity while allowing the swelling that often accompanies such injury. They are appropriate for any of the injuries above for which Exos braces and casts are used. Wrist, carpal, or metacarpal fractures, dislocations, sprains, or contusions to the extremity can be supported until they can be transitioned, as appropriate, to a circumferential support system. They are aptly suited for making volar forearm splints, ulnar or radial gutter splints, and may be fashioned into boxer’s fracture splints as needed. Exos splints are cheaper, more easily & quickly applied, and more comfortable for the patient.
